The anxious me would always look at the negative angle of any situation that arose.

I have never been one of these people who assumes the role of victim in life and blames everyone else for what is wrong in my life but I did have a tendency to look upon things from the darker side of my mind.

I almost even frowned upon people that were overly positive about things, finding them somewhat annoying, but the fact of the matter is if we challenge our negative thought process and replace those bad thoughts with something more positive then your whole outlook on life can change.

Look at some of the things you have been upset about recently, was your reaction a fitting response to the situation? Should we really sweat the little things in life when there are people seriously ill and soldiers fighting for their Country?

One thing I have learnt is to be thankful for every breath I take, if you start the day on a positive and being grateful for something that others take for granted you are in a positive state of mind from the moment you open your eyes.

I go so far as to remove negative influences from my life, if something makes you feel down why would you keep it in your life?

I will also take the time to research a positive quote for the day to reinforce my positive state of mind and one that any anxious person who is feeling low should carry with them is;

Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.
